Save paper and share documents online free of charge

Reviewed: 16th February 2009

Free online storageDo you know how many trees are cut down every day of the year? Neither do we, but over 1000 acres are deforested every day which the people at File Dropper, like many others, think is an obscene amount.

Most of the trees are destroyed and turned into paper that we use for less than a few hours before throwing away. FileDropper wants to help. FileDropper want to help people store and share their documents electronically. We don’t want you to waste paper printing, so are offering 250GB file hosting accounts for free.

You can use these accounts to upload as many documents as you like and share them with all of your friends. If 1 tree is saved from being cut down, they consider this promotion a success and we can’t argue.

I Am Not A Paper Cup

Reviewed: 5th November 2008

What’s with the paper cup you’re probably thinking? Believe it or not this isn’t a paper cup but a reusable ceramic take on a paper classic that we see everyday in those posh coffee shops.

The problem faced by eco-warriors has now been removed, as the paper and plastic cup you couldn’t wash and reuse  has been replaced by a double-walled porcelain cup, with a flexible silicone lid. Being eco-friendly, it’s the only coffee cup you’ll ever need and as it costs little more than a couple of coffee shop fraps, it will pay for itself in no time.

It’s also worth remembering that when you take your own mug to Starbucks, you will instantly receive a 25p reduction on your order!
