Make The Most Of Earth Hour

earth-hourEarth Hour 2009 aims to reach more than one billion people in 1000 cities around the world, inviting communities, business and governments to switch off lights for one hour. The idea is to get one billion people around the world to switch off their lights at 8.30pm on 28 March 2009, and the WWF need your help to reach their target.

Taking part in WWF’s Earth Hour is a great way to show that you want action to tackle climate change. It is also an occasion to have some fun and to raise funds to support their vital work to promote solutions to tackle climate change.

Spotify, the latest in legal online music sharing, have a dedicated Earth Hour play list. Featuring ‘lights out’ themed songs, from Amy Winehouse, Bob Marley, The Fratellis and Thin Lizzy, WWF has put together more than 60 minutes of classic music to help people celebrate WWF’s Earth Hour in style.
