Earth Hour 2009 aims to reach more than one billion people in 1000 cities around the world, inviting communities, business and governments to switch off lights for one hour. The idea is to get one billion people around the world to switch off their lights at 8.30pm on 28 March 2009, and the WWF need your help to reach their target.
Taking part in WWF’s Earth Hour is a great way to show that you want action to tackle climate change. It is also an occasion to have some fun and to raise funds to support their vital work to promote solutions to tackle climate change.
